Some of you know this podcast is something I’ve been wanting to do for a few years – and not just, as my husband insists, because I like to talk and be the center of attention. Haha!
I just love to teach! In person, online, one-on-one, in a big group – love it! Podcasting gives me the opportunity to share information myself as well as to bring in guest speakers to help you in your writing business. And it doesn’t matter where in the world I live – which is a big deal.
My husband, John, works in the film and video game industries as a motion capture editor (if you don’t know what that is, it’s related to animation), and we move around a lot. I’ve already moved four times in the last fourteen months! So finding a way to teach without needing to know what country I’d be living in at the time was a big deal for me.
In addition to the audio podcasts, I’ll also have many of the video recordings up on my YouTube channel. There will be show notes on each episode page here, complete with links to any other websites we mention in the episode. And I’ll add blog posts about additional things I want to share with you that don’t come up in the podcast.
Since it’s December 2017 as I write this, you can look forward to a few posts about time and project management over the next month or two.
